Chanderi Cotton Sarees

Chanderi is a time-honored ethnic fabric characterized by its lightweight, sheer quality, and fine texture.

The name of the fabric came from the small place 'Chanderi' which is situated in Madhya Pradesh. The weaving culture of Chanderi emerged between the 2nd and 7th centuries. During the Mughal period, the textile business of Chanderi reached its peak.

Chanderi cotton sarees are fashioned by interlacing silk, and gold zari in conventional cotton yarn, which results in the formation of a lavish, glistening texture. 

Chanderi Sarees are popular for Indian weddings in summer.
