About Jharna Ikat from Maniabandha~
The name 'Jharna,' inspired by the waterfall-like design of the weaving, defines these exquisite single ikat cotton sarees. Featuring a classic contrasting woven border and palla, they are predominantly crafted in the Manibandha and Nuapatna areas of Odisha. This traditional technique employs tie-and-dye on the yarns prior to weaving, creating a refined and timeless piece.
