MADE TO ORDER
Handwoven Kala cotton saree in yellow, with intricate Soof Embroidery motifs all across the body. The saree has a 3 layered border on Pallu along with Jhaad triangle design thats very traditional and indigenous to soof embroidery
The saree is handwoven in village called Kotay and is embroidered in Sumrasar (Bhuj) by our artisan Nilima ben.
Soof is one of the unique embroideries as they are done from reverse without any pre drawn motifs by counting the yarn. it requires a lot of precision and a strong eyesight for this kind of work
Each saree in Soof collection is an exclusive piece and is never duplicated in design to keep it as unique as it can.
It took 6 months of work by these two sisters to complete one saree.
